Enquiries are not contracts
The sign-up form is an enquiry. Sending it does not create a contract or commit you to anything. Before your restaurant goes live, we agree the details with you and give you our restaurant agreement in writing. If anything on this website differs from that agreement, the agreement applies.
We describe our offer on the offer page. Prices and what is included can change, so the version that applies to you is the one confirmed in writing when you sign up. Examples, savings figures and calculators on this website use illustrative numbers. They are not a quote or a forecast for your business.
Menu preview
Only use the menu preview for a business you own or run, and only share menus you are entitled to share. The preview is read automatically by an AI service and can contain mistakes, including wrong dishes, prices or allergen details. It is a private example, not a published ordering site, and it is deleted after 14 days. Nothing goes live until you have checked and approved your menu with us. Town guides and comparisons
Our town guides list local takeaways using information that is publicly available. Listing a takeaway does not mean it uses or endorses tastie. Opening hours, menus and contact details can change, so check with the takeaway before you rely on them. If you run a listed business and something is wrong, or you would like it removed, tell us and we will correct or remove it.
Comparisons with other companies use prices and terms published on their own websites, checked on the date we show. They can change after that date, so check the latest version before you decide. Other companies’ names are trademarks of their owners. tastie. is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
Ordering food
When you order from a takeaway, your contract for the food is with that takeaway, on its own ordering website and under its own terms. Questions about an order, a refund or allergens go to the takeaway. Find out who to contact about an order.
Using this website
Please do not misuse the website. That includes trying to get unauthorised access, interfering with how it works, sending harmful code, submitting false or unlawful content, or collecting information from it automatically in bulk. We may block access or remove content that breaks these terms.
The words, designs and software on this website belong to us or to the people who license them to us. Town pictures are used under the licences credited next to them. You may view and share our pages, but please do not copy them as your own.
Our responsibility to you
We work to keep this website accurate and available, but we provide it as general information and cannot promise it will always be complete, current or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for websites we link to.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your legal rights. If you use the website for a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, sales or business arising from your use of the website.
Changes and the law that applies
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
